Academy Plaza Hotel

Nice room. Very clean with good sized bathroom

Location was great, off O’Connell street which was a main road/hub for a lot things. Breakfast wasn’t too pricey and had a lot of options. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Very clean and well maintained. Staff offered luggage storage after check-out which was helpful too

For the price paid it is an excellent hotel. Its just off O'connel street. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower was good and hot though it took a bit of fiddling to get it to work how i wanted. The bathroom itself is quite small and pokey but serviceable. I never used the TV. The staff were courteous and polite. I had to provide Id when i checked in and maybe its because i dont stop in hotels in Ireland this was unusual to me. but they accepted my out of date drivers liscence.

Location excellent, room a little cramped but ready early which we appreciated. Friends given room very close by at our request.

The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions and public transport. The staff is friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast is available at the hotel. The room is clean and cozy, with a comfortable temperature. Everything you need for a short stay is provided, including a hairdryer, a kettle, tea, coffee, and cream.
